Amazing Thailand

Our 3-week long vacation in Thailand has been a brilliant time. We did so many things and have hundreds of pictures. We arrived in Bangkok and spend 3 days exploring the city including Buddhist temples, markets and of course restaurants and bars.

After Bangkok we took a train to Kanchanaburi famous for its bridge built by prisoners during world war 2. Though the main reason for us to go there was to see the tiger temple which we had been watching on Animal Planet. Finally we had the chance to touch the tigers....

After that extraordinary experience we did overnight on a train to go down south for some jungle trekking, river rafting and elephant riding.

Then off to Pucket to meet up with some friends and celebrate Dion and Jennifer's wedding (after a bachelor party and hen's night in Pudong. It was great catching up with everyone.

A short flight over to the Gulf of Thailand and the island of Koh Samui for some relaxing time on the beach at the new Four Seasons resort.

And then off North to Chiang Mai on the day of the 80th birthday of the King. After a stroll through the city a the purchase of some fake watches we enjoyed the peacefulness of the resort as well as biking around the countryside.

Finally a last night in Bangkok before catching the flight back to Amman. We stayed at the Peninsula where we had a fantastic view of the city from our room on the 30th floor. We enjoyed a last night visiting restaurants and bars with Olmo a good friend of Patricia.

Thailand is an amazing place, with great food and lots of friendly people. Look out for our photo album to see more pics of our adventure
We can't wait for our next vacation....
